Buttery Turmeric Rice
5 simple ingredients can turn plain rice into a flavorful side dish! This rice pairs well with a variety of flavors, and is extremely easy to make in a rice cooker. We always make this to serve with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or Indian dishes.

- 2 1/4 cups rice 3 rice cooker cups
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp chicken better than bouillon
Rinse rice a few times until water runs clear.
Measure rice and appropriate amount of water into rice cooker or pot. If preparing in rice cooker, add rice first, then add water to the "3" line. If preparing in a pot on the stovetop, use twice as much water as rice.
Add remaining ingredients.
For rice cooker, turn on and select "white rice" to cook. For stovetop, cover, bring to a boil, then simmer until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
