They get their delightful chewiness from a touch of sweetened condensed milk, and are super fast to make since they don’t require chilling the dough before baking.

The Best Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Chocolate Chip Cookies get their chewiness from a unique ingredient! They come together fast, for warm cookies in no time.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- In an electric mixer, cream together cold butter and sugar.
- Once no butter chunks are visible, add egg, vanilla, and sweetened condensed milk to combine.
- Add flour and baking soda, mix on low just until flour is incorporated.
- Add chocolate chips and mix once more to incorporate.
- Scoop dough onto parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Slide parchment to cooling rack to cool completely.
Notes
This recipe can be made without an electric mixer as well, by melting the butter, then chilling dough in refrigerator before baking.
